Do you think your prescription drugs cost too much? Your voice matters: Community forums in April and May

Do you think your prescription drugs cost too much? The Oregon Prescription Drug Affordability Board (PDAB) will host in person and online community forums in April and May about the high cost of prescription drugs.

What is the PDAB?

The Oregon PDAB was created in 2022 to help protect Oregonians and the healthcare system from the high cost of prescription drugs. The board wants to reduce financial burdens for patients.

Each year, the board reviews a list of prescription drugs and identifies up to nine prescription drugs and at least one insulin product that have high costs. The board reports the findings to the Oregon Legislature each December.

By attending a free community forum or submitting an online feedback form, you can:

  • Help the board as it reviews these medications.
  • Learn why prescription drug costs are so high.
  • At the May 20 board meeting, you can share your story about how you’ve been affected by prescription drug and medication costs.

PDAB will also seek input through an online form for patients and caregivers about medications the board is reviewing this year. The patient and caregiver form will be available in English and Spanish on the PDAB website in mid-April.

Download a flyer in English or Spanish for dates, times, locations, Zoom meeting IDs and passcodes.
