Families, friends and Thanksgiving guests can stay safe from foodborne germs by practicing four simple steps this holiday: Clean, Separate, Cook and Chill. 

Clean:  Wash hands and surfaces often 

Separate: Avoid cross contamination 

Cook: To the proper temperature 

Chill: Refrigerate promptly
