Medicaid renewals strong, but we need your help to reach more Oregonians

Available in Spanish

If you’re 65 or older or experiencing homelessness, or you know people in Oregon who are, OHA needs your help.

Learn what to do if you receive a letter here.

The good news is 85% of OHP members have kept their benefits since the renewal process began in April. In fact, Oregon has the third-highest rate of keeping people on Medicaid, according to the latest analysis by KFF, a nonpartisan health policy organization.

However, many members are at risk of losing coverage because they haven’t responded to their renewal letters. A high number of these members are age 65+ or experiencing homelessness.

The last wave of renewal letters are scheduled to go out in January 2024.
