Pfizer-BioNTech booster for specific groups recommended by Western States Scientific Safety Review Workgroup

The Western States Scientific Safety Review Workgroup has recommended the following groups of people who received the Pfizer vaccine should receive a booster dose of the Pfizer vaccine at least six months after their second dose:

Recognizing that systemic inequities increase risk of severe illness, the workgroup also recommended that social determinants of health be included in assessment of medical conditions.
